Terms of Service

Effective from June 12, 2026.

1. General

These terms govern the use of DocWand (docwand.app) — a tool for signing, filling, merging and splitting PDF files. The service is operated by Dawid Rożenek, a sole proprietor trading as "Dawid Rożenek", ul. 26 Marca 116/2, 44-300 Wodzisław Śląski, Poland, tax id (NIP) 6472578181, REGON 367195746; contact: kontakt@docwand.app. By using the service you accept these terms.

2. How the service works

All document processing happens locally, in your browser. Documents and their contents are never transmitted to our servers. Signatures inserted with DocWand are simple electronic signatures (SES) under the eIDAS regulation — not qualified signatures. Assessing whether this form is sufficient for a given legal act is the user's responsibility.

3. Free tier and licenses

The basic service is free, subject to technical and usage limits stated on the site (including a 10 MB file-size limit). Extended use is available under paid licenses (e.g. day pass, monthly, lifetime). The license key is delivered to the e-mail address provided at purchase and activated in the user's browser.

4. Payments

License sales are handled by an external payment operator acting as the merchant of record; that operator is the party to the payment transaction and issues sales documents. Prices are shown gross.

5. Acceptable use

Using the service for unlawful purposes — including document forgery or signing with a third party's identity without authority — is prohibited. The user is responsible for the contents of the documents they process.

6. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator does not warrant fitness of documents produced with the service for any particular legal purpose, and the operator's aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the preceding 12 months. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

7. Complaints and refunds

Complaints: kontakt@docwand.app (answered within 14 days). Refunds are described in the refund policy.

8. Changes

The operator may amend these terms for valid reasons (changes in law, functionality or the service model). Amendments do not apply retroactively to licenses already paid for.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Polish law. Consumer disputes may also be resolved through out-of-court schemes (e.g. the EU ODR platform).
